Hello, I'm Zachary Volk. I'm an Oklahoma native with a lifelong passion for communications and storytelling. I earned my degree from the University of Oklahoma, which laid the foundation for my career in media and marketing. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work in diverse roles that have allowed me to hone my skills in writing, video production, and professional photography.
My career began at Cumulus Media, where I worked as a producer and on-air talent for 98.1 The Sports Animal. This experience taught me the power of live broadcasting and the importance of producing work that connects with audiences. I later transitioned into marketing as a specialist at Longevity, where I developed creative campaigns and strategies that helped drive brand engagement and foster sales. I then served as the Multimedia Communications Specialist for the Oklahoma Senate. I combined my expertise in writing, video editing, and photography to craft compelling social media posts, videos, and press releases that informed our community and increased transparency within government. That led me to my current role at Redlands Community College, where I coordinate digital marketing and media efforts to elevate the college’s brand, engage students, and strengthen community connections.
When I'm not busy at work, I love to build computers, play video games, and watch sports. I also cherish quality time with my family, who continually inspire my creative work.
